Norton antivirus?

Do I have to uninstall norton 2007 (free subscription ended)before i load macfee 2007 from a disc.

Neal, are you aware that when you go to add/remove, you will only think that you have uninstalled Nortons. Nortons leaves behind over 375 fragments glued to your registry, files/folders and subsystem. This causes serious conflict. And if you think that Nortons removal tool will do the job, you can forget it. PLUS YOU CAN ONLY HAVE ONE ANTIVIRUS OR YOU WILL HAVE SERIOUS CONFLICT WITH YOUR SYSTEM.

I beta test antivirus/antispyware and Nortons was a living hell gettint the 375 fragments out of my system. Would not have Nortons, if it was a life time free gift.

You can only have 1 anti-virus installed or it will cause major conflicts. I recommend Kaspersky though.

After extensively researching all anti-virus products I can say the best anti-virus is Kaspersky, though NOD32 is better for computer experts. Kaspersky is the best all-round anti-virus program. NOD32 runs faster and has less software conflicts but as a consequence the user interface is difficult to use.
